The wife and I while in Genoa this past summer remembered that the Costa Concordia had been towed and moored near their shipping ports, slated for deconstruction. It was quite a macabre sight and no lens I had with me really cut the mustard. This is actually a crop of a zoom, and it’s not photographically impressive by any stretch, but being a fan of urban decay, I was still fascinated to it, the same as I would about abandoned buildings, subway stations, etc.
